Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the ConciergeEdge platform operated by Gage Bement ("ConciergeEdge"). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

The Service

ConciergeEdge provides a booking platform that enables hotel concierges to make reservations at partner businesses on behalf of hotel guests. The platform tracks bookings, facilitates billing between ConciergeEdge and partner businesses, and provides reporting tools for hotels and businesses.

Hotel Partners

Hotels that partner with ConciergeEdge agree to allow their concierge staff to use the platform for guest reservations, provide accurate concierge staff information for account setup, and complete Stripe payment onboarding to receive their revenue share. Hotels receive 30% of each flat booking fee generated by their concierge team. Hotels are responsible for determining how concierge earnings (20% per booking) are distributed to their staff.

Business Partners

Businesses that partner with ConciergeEdge agree to honor reservations made through the platform, provide a valid billing email and payment method on file, pay the agreed flat fee per confirmed booking at month end, and notify ConciergeEdge of any billing disputes within 5 calendar days of invoice receipt. Only bookings where the guest attended are billable. No-shows confirmed by the business will not be invoiced.

Platform Fees

ConciergeEdge retains 50% of each flat booking fee as a platform and technology fee. This covers platform operations, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, and customer support. The fee split (50% platform / 30% hotel / 20% concierge) is fixed unless modified by written agreement.

SMS Notifications

Program: ConciergeEdge sends transactional SMS messages to registered business partners to confirm guest reservations and arrival status at their venue.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the number of guest reservations made at your venue. You will receive one message per booking and one confirmation reply per arrival response.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from SMS notifications. You will receive a single confirmation that your opt-out has been processed and no further messages will be sent.

SMS consent is not a condition of service. You may opt out at any time without affecting your ability to use the ConciergeEdge platform.

Acceptable Use

Users may not use the platform to make fraudulent bookings, manipulate the earnings system, share login credentials, or attempt to access data belonging to other hotels or businesses. ConciergeEdge reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

ConciergeEdge is a booking platform and is not responsible for the quality of services provided by partner businesses, the conduct of guests, or losses arising from a guest's experience at a partner venue. ConciergeEdge's total liability under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid to ConciergeEdge in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate their participation with 30 days written notice. Outstanding invoices remain due after termination. Booking data will be retained per our Privacy Policy for billing and audit purposes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Napa County, California.
